Children’s Glory. Their Fathers?

Proverbs 17:6

Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

We often think of children being the pride and joy of their moms and dads. But how many children are proud of their parents?

What have you done with and for your children that would make them proud? Certainly there may be times in a young person’s life when they don’t think of their parents very highly. But eventually they will grow up and reflect on their time at home with their parents. What will your children remember?

You don’t have to be rich, smart or famous to provide a good family environment in which to raise your children. Being honest, hard-working and God-fearing should be enough to bring a sense of pride to your children for having grown up in your family.
